About
Dede is a passionate, straight forward, and knowledgeable coach, who will lead you through your own Ninja Level recovery process! Are you ready to make your life align with your dreams?
Her primary areas of interest are navigating life shattering life transitions, aging, and loss; She has seen older adults through the process of developing the courage to stand and thrive rather than retreat from seemingly overwhelming pain through self-destructive behaviors and addiction. In this phase of her career, she is excited to step around from the other side of the desk to partner with other persons in recovery, to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
Dede has a background in counseling, recovery group facilitation and is deeply committed to her vision of the achievable goal of a balanced, joyful life, free of addiction and old baggage. Through years of work in social work and addiction counseling she has a collaborative vision of recovery. Dede has a master’s in social work from Columbia University and a masters in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Betty Ford School of Addiction Counseling. Her years working as the coordinator and facilitator of The Retreat’s Older Adult Addiction Recovery Program were some of the best she has known!
